About Us
Columbus Area Children’s Museum is a nonprofit STEAM-based children’s museum in Columbus, Nebraska, where children ages 0–10 explore, create and learn through the power of play. Since 2024, our events, programming and exhibits–inspired by Columbus-area farms, businesses and the local environment–have given young minds a place to ask questions, test ideas and discover how our community works. Families, donors and community partners help make this hands-on learning possible.
Who We Are
Columbus Area Children’s Museum is the first children’s museum in Northeast Nebraska!
The Columbus Area Children’s Museum (CACM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit providing a safe indoor play space for children to learn & grow in Columbus, Nebraska! We are governed by a volunteer advisory board made up of passionate professionals from the region dedicated to shaping the next generation.
The CACM is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) – focused learning space with a variety of educational exhibits & programming helping to cultivate creativity & curiosity in our visitors. We are looking forward to your visit!
