About Us

In January of 2024, the Columbus Area Children’s Museum opened it’s doors for members and welcomed the general public, on February 22nd, 2024! This museum represents our community and the hardworking people who live and work in or near it! From a water table, modeled after the Loup River with a Loup Powerhouse model, to a modern farm, housing a veterinarian’s office, soil lab, animal wellness and nutrition, to the Kidstown, made up of businesses who call Columbus home, children birth – 10 years of age – and up, will learn something new each time they visit!
